Terms of Service
Effective: February 16, 2026
By using Pal-E, you agree to these terms. They're short and straightforward.
The service
Pal-E is an AI assistant accessible through Telegram and via MCP server URLs in compatible AI clients (such as Claude.ai). It connects to your third-party accounts (Google, Notion, LinkedIn) to perform tasks on your behalf. It is built and operated by Lucas Draney.
Accounts and access
- You access Pal-E through Telegram or by connecting MCP server URLs to a compatible AI client (such as Claude.ai). On Telegram, your user ID is your identity in the system.
- When you connect third-party services via OAuth, you authorize Pal-E to access those services within the permissions you grant.
- You can disconnect any integration or stop using the service at any time.
Google integrations
Gmail and Google Calendar integrations are currently in testing mode under Google's OAuth framework. This means:
- You must be manually added as a test user before connecting Google services.
- You may see an "unverified app" warning during the OAuth flow — this is expected.
- Gmail tokens expire every 7 days and require re-authorization.
Cost and access
Pal-E is currently free to use. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or usage fees from Pal-E. The service's infrastructure — OAuth handling, tool servers, and AI processing on the Telegram path — is self-hosted with no per-token costs passed to users. On the Claude.ai path, users provide their own Anthropic account.
This may change in the future. If paid plans are introduced, existing users will be notified in advance through the Telegram bot. You can stop using the service at any time — your connected accounts and conversation history remain intact.
Acceptable use
Use Pal-E for its intended purpose — managing your personal productivity tools. Don't use it to:
- Send spam or bulk messages through connected accounts.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or attack the service infrastructure.
- Violate the terms of any connected third-party service.
Service availability
Pal-E is a solo-operated project. There is no uptime SLA. The service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues. Reasonable effort is made to keep things running smoothly, but no guarantees are provided.
Limitation of liability
Pal-E is provided "as is." Lucas Draney is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: actions taken on your behalf through connected accounts, data loss, service interruptions, or third-party service changes.
You are responsible for reviewing actions Pal-E takes on your behalf (emails sent, calendar events created, posts published, etc.).
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated through the Telegram bot before taking effect.
